AP Music Theory
AP Music Theory is a class that is offered to upper level, musically motivated students at West Orange High School. It is designed to be a college-level
course that will give students a more in depth appreciation of the music they have come to love. Music Theory exercises the brain in very different ways than reading and writing, encouraging new approaches to problem solving and critical thinking. The end goal of the class is to pass the AP Music Theory
examination, which is an accomplishment any music student would be proud to achieve.
